The loop powered relay can be used with Apollo’s XP95A range of analog addressable fire detectors, to control ancillary equipment such as 120V HVAC, air control, gas valve, and public address systems.

New Mains Switching Input/Output Unit For DIN-Rail Mounting

Apollo's new mains switching input/output unit, designed for mounting on a DIN-rail, provides a voltage-free, single pole change-over relay output with a contact rating of 250V AC @ 5Amp and 48V DC @ 2Amp. It also has a monitored switch input that is designed to supervise one or more normally-open switches connected to a single-pair of cables.

Apollo Fire Detectors has launched a new version of its XP95 and Discovery Manual Call Points which comply with EN54-11:2001. The new call point has a re-settable element for fast testing and re-setting of the device, with a single tool for both testing and re-setting. It also has 'plug and play'; terminal blocks for fast wiring.

New Relay Base From Apollo Aimed At Security Applications

A new low-profile 12 volt relay base for Apollo's Series 65 conventional smoke and heat detectors can be used in security applications as well as in fire systems, depending on whether non-latching or latching mode is selected. The new base incorporates a single-pole, voltage-free changeover contact for switching ancillary equipment.

Combined Sounder, Beacon And Isolator In One Unit

Apollo's new Sounder Beacon Base combines an integrated base sounder, loop-powered beacon and isolator in one unit. A smoke or heat detector would normally be fitted to the base, but red and white caps can be used instead to enable operation as a stand-alone sounder/beacon. A version of the base without an isolator is also available.
