Favorably impressed by the 5th edition of VICB 2011
"VICB 2011"has been proven its new level of achievement with a
remarkable record of 126 exhibitors signed up from 13 countries and
regions. Exhibitors were richly rewarded with report on investment
intentions from quality buyers in the booming construction &
building industries.
The fair 5th edition has been successfully inaugurated on 10-13
May 2011 and 7,250 visitors has spanned over to visit "VICB 2011"
incorporating "RAHV VIETNAM 2011" and "SECURITY & FIRE VIETNAM
2011". They are confident of whatever products able to be
found.
Thanks to the national Pavilions of DEP (Thailand); Chinese
Fluid Power Association (Taiwan), and group participants from China
whom had pledged their great support by joining the VICB 2011
confirming the importance of Vietnam as the marketplace of business
potential.

Construction is one of the most important industries in Vietnam.
In mid-to-long term, the urbanization process is under fast
expanding, particularly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The
development of industrial projects、new office building、and low-end
housing projects、public infrastructure are important for the
economy, boosting the sector of construction and it has been
encouraged. The construction industry has changed
dramatically in recent years and many of the buildings that have
built up have improved the appearance of urban Vietnam while the

According to the Vietnam Construction Association, the
construction industry will be implementing a program to develop
housing until 2020. A target has been set to have an additional
30-32 million square meters of housing in the nation and 12 square
meters of living space per person.

and are reiterate their commitment to medium and long-term visions
