Warranty

Apollo take the utmost care during the design, development and manufacture of their products to ensure that they are of the highest quality.

All Apollo products manufactured after May 2000 are covered for up to three years after the date of manufacture or two years from the date of installation - whichever is the sooner. Products manufactured before this date have a two year warranty period.

Faulty products can be returned to Apollo for investigation within the appropriate warranty period. For more information about returning devices, please click here.

When products are returned to Apollo, a thorough examination takes place.

  • Tests for Analog Detectors:
  • Pre-soak (24 hours minimum)
  • Strip detector to PCB level
  • Fault find if necessary
  • Re-assemble
  • Re-calibrate to current production limits
  • Final soak test (72 hours minimum)

Tests for Conventional Detectors:

  • Pre-test, using the current production final test
  • Strip detector to PCB level
  • Fault find if necessary
  • Re-assemble
  • Re-calibrate to current production limits

Final soak test (72 hours minimum, using a humidity tent for heat detectors)

  • Tests for Interfaces:
  • Functionality test
  • Strip interface to PCB level
  • Fault find if necessary
  • Re-assemble
  • Fully re-test using production equipment
  • Final soak test (72 hours minimum)
